Q&A
-
SPRINGS15 is a UAE-based test-bed where creators and backers come together to turn an idea into
reality. If you, the creator, have a project you want to pursue but need help identifying potential
customers, you can share your idea on SPRINGS15 and get connected with dependable supporters. If
you, the backer, are interested in new creative ideas and inventions, you can support the project of
your choice and enjoy the final product.
-
On a test-bed like SPRINGS15 many people gather to jointly test out and back an idea, a project or a
start-up. The creators introduce their idea through a video, pictures, and texts. Then they set a target
budget, which must be reached within a specified duration (15 up to 45 days). Anyone who wants the
idea to become reality can contribute to the project during this period. In return, once the budget is
collected the backers receive a reward.
-
SPRINGS15 is a place where creators can test out the potential success of their creative ideas before
entering the market. With the help of supporters (and customers to be) creators can accumulate the
money necessary to pursue creative endeavors. Therefore, every project must center around a unique
idea, and should showcase why the creator needs the amount of money outlined. This is why
SPRINGS15 is unlike existing e-commerce platforms that are simply designed for selling goods. In
addition, if the project fails to raise enough money to meet the target, the project is automatically
cancelled and the money is refunded.
-
The creator assembles a project page made up of 1) their unique idea, 2) their specific plans, 3) the
reward or service the backers will receive. The registered project will be exposed to the general public
and users can pledge money for projects of their choice. By doing so, cards are not charged
immediately and will only be charged if the target budget is reached within the deadline.
If the project fails to collect the needed budget, all scheduled transactions are cancelled, and the
creator does not receive any money. If the goal is reached, the money is supplied to the creator who
proceeds with the promised project. The final creation is eventually provided to backers who
contributed to the project.
-
As of now, projects in Arts & Crafts, Beauty, Fashion, Film & Photography, Food, Furniture, Fitness,
Kids, K-pop, Music, Pets, Publishing (Books, Comics, etc.), Tech & Games, Travel, or (Virtual) Events
are supported.

Creators in any creative field— Arts & Crafts, Beauty, Fashion, Film & Photography, Food, Furniture,
Fitness, Kids, K-pop, Music, Pets, Publishing (Books, Comics, etc.), Tech & Games, Travel, or (Virtual)
Events, and more—can upload new ideas as projects on SPRINGS15.
-
At its core, SPRINGS15 is designed as a test-bed for new ideas; therefore, you may not register a
project that is already introduced or sold on different platforms. However, if an existing project is
altered (addition of a new item/aspect) then it is considered a new project, and may be registered on
SPRINGS15.
-
You may pursue projects with SPRINGS15 anywhere in the world—not just in the UAE. However, if
your idea involves the creation of physical goods, you are entirely in charge of shipping logistics and
SPRINGS15 does not take responsibility for this matter.
-
If you are based in the UAE, you may not legally sell goods without an official license. Therefore, you
must apply for an E-trader license in order to commence this project and be allowed to register for
funding on this platform. SPRINGS15 can also assist UAE-based creators with obtaining the license.
-
Once the creator reaches their funding goal, a user fee is collected. It includes the platform fee and
payment and remittance processing fee (levied by collection agent).
